James is an experienced and responsive commercial lawyer who advises clients in the technology, healthcare, education and government sectors.  His practice is diverse and includes a significant focus on commercial law, contract drafting and negotiation, procurement, competition and consumer law, intellectual property, health law and life sciences.

James acts for innovative private, public and foreign corporations, Queensland’s best universities and their technology transfer offices, franchisors and State and local government bodies.  He regularly publishes on legal developments of relevance to his clients and is actively involved in the firm’s pro bono program.

James holds a Master of Laws from the Melbourne Law School, The University of Melbourne.
