Michael is one of Australia’s leading practitioners in a range of areas including planning/environment/valuation litigation and advice, drafting statutory planning documents and negotiating infrastructure documents. He offers his clients an insider’s knowledge and insight gained from his previous role as a town planner. He has a strong profile in the Brisbane market and is a regular speaker at industry conferences. Michael is repeatedly recognised for his work and has been identified in Doyle’s Guide as one of the top 20 planning lawyers in the country. He was previously the President of the Queensland Environmental Law Association Inc and is currently on the Urban Futures Brisbane Board which provides strategic policy direction to Brisbane City Council. In addition to his legal qualifications, Michael also holds a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning.
