Brent has over 15 years’ experience providing strategic legal advice to developers, local government, State government authorities and government owned corporations on all aspects of planning and environment law.

Brent’s involvement in planning and development adopts a true ��cradle to grave’ approach, becoming engaged at the inception of a project to assist in strategically framing the approvals processes to best ensure an efficient and commercial outcome. His work includes planning due diligence, strategic advice on approvals frameworks, project management of development applications, drafting and negotiating infrastructure agreements, and litigating decisions through the Courts.

Brent is particularly known for his expertise and enthusiasm in complex planning litigation, including appeals, declaratory proceedings and enforcement proceedings. His experience extends into land resumption, statutory valuation, planning scheme drafting, corporate governance and judicial review.
