Jack is widely recognised as a leader in employment and workplace relations (Chambers Asia Pacific, AFR Best Lawyers Peer Review, Asia Pacific Legal 500 and Doyles Guide). Working closely with clients, Jack is noted for his outstanding legal knowledge and the understanding he brings to matters across a range of industries including mining, manufacturing, construction and tertiary education sectors. Jack provides employers with strategic industrial relations advice, including the development of IR strategies and the negotiation and interpretation of industrial instruments.  Jack regularly appears in the Fair Work Commission, and helps clients resolve collective and individual employee disputes.   Jack’s advice is practical, commercial and focussed on long term workplace outcomes. Jack has expertise in workplace health and safety and is focussed on advising employers, senior managers and directors on WHS compliance. He is also experienced in responding to safety incidents, managing safety investigations, dealing with regulatory authorities and conducting legal proceedings. Jack advises and appears in Coronial inquests, and conducts WHS training.  Jack is an employment law author for the Law Society Journal NSW, and an author of LexisNexis Guidance Notes.
