Trained and qualified at a large Lincolnshire firm where Raj stayed for 12 years specialising in commercial property. Raj qualified as a solicitor in 2007. Raj joined Sills and Betteridge as a partner in 2016 based at the Sleaford branch.

Raj has a varied workload and is experienced in providing advice in the buying and selling of commercial property/land; acting for both landlord and tenant in lease transactions including assignments, variations and surrenders. Raj acts for property developers in both commercial and residential areas providing advice in the initial site acquisition to site set up and onward sale/lease(s) of plots/units/houses. Raj has experience and advising upon property matters specific to enterprise/industrial parks. Raj is able to advise and prepare conditional contracts, options agreements, overage agreements and planning agreements. Raj acts for a variety of clients from local businesses/individuals, property developers and landed agents.

Education

Raj attended school in the West Midlands, obtained a BA (Hons) Law and Accounting Studies from Staffordshire University and carried out her LPC at Birmingham College of Law.
