Christian is a member of the corporate and mergers and acquisitions groups in our Paris office. The core of his practice consists of advising on private mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, with an emphasis on the TMT sector. Most of Christian's work is cross-border, often involving investments in France or in other French-speaking countries (particularly in Africa). Christian qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1996, and is registered with the Paris bar. He practises both French and English law. His recent work includes: advising Areva on its partnership with KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation) by which KEPCO took a 10% indirect stake in the Imouraren uranium mine in Niger; advising MTN Group on its acquisitions of mobile telecoms operators in Congo Brazzaville and Ivory Coast and advising Ecocem Materials on its joint venture with ArcelorMittal for the production of environmentally friendly cement.
