Position
Nick is a partner in the firm’s Disputes & Investigations team. He advises on a wide range of corporate crime, corruption and fraud-related matters. He is experienced at dealing with large scale and sensitive investigations involving the handling of issues in multiple jurisdictions, and regularly advises on reporting to and communications with enforcement authorities including the Serious Fraud Office and National Crime Agency.
Nick is also experienced at advising companies under public scrutiny, including the giving of evidence to parliamentary select committees.
Career
Admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and in Hong Kong; joined Simmons & Simmons 1989, partner 1999.
Memberships
Nick is Co-Chairman of the IBA Anti-Corruption Committee, a founding member of the City of London Law Society Corporate Crime Committee and a member of the Commercial Fraud Lawyers Association. He was a member of the CBI Working Group on the Bribery Act.
