James is Head of the firm’s international Insurance and Construction group. He is a renowned litigator, specialising in professional liability, coverage, reinsurance and construction disputes.

With over 30 years of experience, James has acted for insurers and their insureds, including solicitors, accountants, brokers, architects, engineers, surveyors and other construction professionals in High Court litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation. His practice often includes an international element, with cases spanning the UK, US, Japan and the Middle East, as well as Northern Ireland where he is also qualified.
