Position

Sarah specialises in soft IP and is responsible for the day to day running of the Paris Intellectual Property Department. She advises on all the aspects involved in the creation, exploitation and protection of trademarks, design rights, copyrights and domain names and is also well versed on the issues relating to unfair competition, dealing with both contentious and non-contentious matters. Sarah also deals with data protection and advertising matters.

Career

Sarah joined Simmons & Simmons in London in 1990 and moved to the Paris office in September 1991. She became Avocat à la Cour in December 1995.

Sarah is an active member of INTA, and the French Trademark association APRAM, and sits on the Regulatory Committee for MARQUES. She regularly speaks at conferences held by these organisations.

Education

Sarah is a French-qualified lawyer as well as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. She holds a Certificate in Intellectual Property (trade marks, designs and models) from the Centre Robert Schumann of the University of Strasbourg.
