Position

Patrick is Head of the UK Dispute Resolution Group. A partner and solicitor advocate (All Higher Courts), Patrick is a commercial dispute resolution specialist with a particular focus on contentious competition matters, cross-border disputes, civil fraud cases and arbitration.

With over 20 years’ experience of competition litigation claims, he specialises in advising in regulated industries including energy, life sciences, TMT and financial institutions.

Career

Litigation and international arbitration department of a leading international law firm in London for nine years; itigation managing associate Simmons & Simmons 2009. He is the author of numerous articles and has spoken at conferences on a various topics including cross-jurisdictional cartel damages claims and the criminalisation of cartels. Patrick is a former judicial assistant at the Court of Appeal and was for a number of years a visiting lecturer at the London School of Economics, teaching on the International Arbitration module of the LLM.

Education

Wadham College, Oxford University (degree in Classics).
