Career

Tracy was admitted as a solicitor of Hong Kong in 2004 and joined OLN in 2009. She was promoted as a Senior Associate at OLN in 2009 and as a Partner in 2014 and now leading OLN’s Corporate Commercial and China Practice Department.

With Tracy’s solid, extensive and professional legal knowledge coupled with her proactive and practical approach in dealing with legal issues and handling transactions, including but not limited to mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, banking, project financing, and all other sale and purchase and commercial matters, Tracy has developed a strong and dynamic legal practice and has all along been highly regarded by a lot of corporate and individual clients, ranging from Banks and Financial Institutions, Listed Companies in Hong Kong, China, Japan, United States and all over the world and also Multinational Corporate Groups to Small-Medium Sized Enterprises and Sole-Proprietors.

Tracy’s legal professionalism but yet practical approach in conducting transactions and providing legal and strategic advice has received continuous recognition, throughout her extensive years of practice. Chambers Asia Pacific ranks Tracy as a ‘Leading lawyer in Corporate/M&A,’ and Asialaw Profiles has recognized Tracy over the years as a ‘Leading Lawyer in Corporate and Commercial Practice’ and most recently as a ‘Distinguished Practitioner in Corporate/M&A.’

Tracy has also been invited by the University of Hong Kong to act as a Part-Time Tutor in Employment Law under the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) program in light of her substantive experience in advising on employment law issues for her corporate clients as well as individuals.

Before joining OLN, Tracy gained extensive experience in handling and structuring cross-border corporate commercial and project financing transactions, including but not limited to mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investments, real estate project financing and general commercial and banking work with major law firms in Hong Kong.
