Career

Xanthoula is a Dual-qualified English Solicitor and Cypriot Lawyer. Xanthoula joined STS’s Real Estate team as a paralegal in January 2015 and qualified as an English Solicitor through the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme in April 2017.

Xanthoula deals primarily with an extensive mix of commercial and residential property transactions and connected funding arrangements. Xanthoula has daily exposure in commercial sales and purchases, often subject to planning agreements and leases. Xanthoula also acts on behalf of Housing Associations on residential shared ownership transactions.

In addition to acting for a range of developers, housing associations and property firms, Xanthoula also undertakes a broad range of property work acting for private clients in residential leasehold and freehold acquisitions and disposals and has extensive experience in trusts, licences, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, equity releases and lease extensions.

Xanthoula also deals with statutory lease extensions and enfranchisement purchases once an agreement on the premium has been reached.
