Career
Jed graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom in 2011. Thereafter he was admitted as a member of The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2014. After completing his 9-month period of pupillage in Kuala Lumpur he was called to the Peninsular Malaysian Bar in March 2015. Some time thereafter, he joined Raja, Darryl & Loh as an Associate in the Technology, Multimedia and Telecommunications Practice Group. He became a Senior Associate in 2019 and a partner on 1st July 2022.
Regularly advising on a broad spectrum of Information & Communications Technology (ICT) projects, Jed is actively involved in structuring, drafting and negotiating complex ICT contracts (including contracts drafted in Chinese). Data protection is another area in which he regularly engages with clients.
Jed has contributed to, among others, the Malaysian chapter to “Lexology: Getting the Deal Through – Digital Business 2022”.
