Career

Zack was called to the Bar of England and Wales as a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple in 2014, after graduating from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom, in 2013. He was called to the Peninsular Malaysian Bar in 2015 and joined Raja, Darryl & Loh in July 2017 as an associate in the Construction, Infrastructure & Energy Practice Group.

Since then, he has been involved in both advisory and dispute resolution work that includes pre-contract negotiation, preparation of contracts, project advisory work, arbitration and statutory adjudication.   He has also been part of the teams that represented clients (mainly Government-owned infrastructure entities) in various high-profile projects relating to mass rapid transit systems such as the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3), the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit 2 (MRT 2), the Kuala Lumpur Monorail Fleet Expansion project and the Johor Bahru – Singapore Rapid Transit System.  Another noteworthy project is the Gemas-Johor Bahru electrified double tracking railway project.

Zack became a partner in January 2022.

In the 2023 edition of the IFLR1000 Asia Pacific, Zack was recognised as a Rising Star Partner in the area of Project Development: Infrastructure.
