Mr. Nathaniel Andrew Uy is a senior associate in SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan. He is a member of the Firm’s Special Projects, Litigation and Employment and Immigration practice groups.

His work includes conducting legal due diligence, drafting and reviewing transaction documents, and rendering advisory opinions on land, corporate, contracts, securities, employment and regulatory matters, including for high-value corporate acquisitions and other forms of investments.

Career

Mr. Uy has been involved in projects involving acquisition of corporate interests and other forms of investments in various industries. He has assisted in several public-private partnership infrastructure projects. He has experience in conducting legal due diligence, drafting and reviewing transaction documents, and rendering advisory opinions on corporate, regulatory and labor matters.

He has handled civil, criminal, labor and commercial cases pending before the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, various trial courts, various city prosecutor offices and various labor arbiters of the National Labor Relations Commission.

Mr. Uy has provided advice and has assisted in the establishment of corporations in the Philippines and has conducted corporate housekeeping work. He also renders corporate secretarial duties, including acting as Assistant Corporate Secretary for several corporations.
