Ms. Caro-Selvaggio is a special counsel in SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan. Her practice areas are intellectual property, franchising & distribution. She manages and maintains intellectual property portfolios of local and international clients; renders opinions on registrability and protection of intellectual property in the Philippines; has expertise in licensing, technology transfer, distributorship and similarly focused business transactions. She also advises major players in the fashion, food, pharmaceutical and hotel industries on licensing and technology transfer matters.

Ms. Caro-Selvaggio earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Philippines and Bachelor of Laws from the Ateneo de Manila University. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1992.

She received her Master of Laws (second honors) from the Cambridge University.
