Litigation and Arbitration.

Ramon G. Songco is a partner in SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan. His practice areas include litigation and arbitration (civil, commercial, criminal, administrative) including contract disputes, tax cases, environmental (writ of kalikasan) cases, international commercial and sports arbitration, local taxation, estate proceedings, and general corporation law.

He obtained his undergraduate studies at the then La Salle College (now University of St. La Salle) in Bacolod City graduating with two degrees (A.B. Economics and B.S.C. Marketing Management) in 1985. He then entered the Ateneo de Manila University Law School where he got his Bachelor of Laws degree, graduating with Second Honors (ranked third in his class) in 1990. He passed the 1990 Bar Examinations where he placed 5th among all successful examinees.
