Ms Tan Choo Leng

Tan Choo Leng is a Senior Consultant in WongPartnership.
Career
She has over 30 years of experience in property and real estate. She has extensive experience in acting for clients on the structuring of companies and financing of real estate projects, stamp duty and tax related issues as well as regularisation of complexities in titles. Choo Leng has also advised on acquisitions and dispositions, leasing of and development of vacant land, residential, industrial and commercial properties and hotels. Her clients include public listed and private corporations, banks, societies, unincorporated associations, charities and individuals.
During her practice as a senior partner with another top law firm in Singapore, Choo Leng had acted for major landlords and major tenants in their negotiations and tenancies as well as advised management corporations, building owners and tenants on matters relating to the control and management of the common property in buildings. She had also acted in transactions involving syndicated loans, multi-currency loans, bonds, joint ventures, asset and business acquisitions, asset restructuring and debt restructuring in conjunction with other practices; and advised on legal issues and on regulatory requirements and permits for acquisition of properties by clubs, societies, charities and religious bodies.
