Chan Sing Yee is the Co-Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice and a Partner in the Private Equity Practice.

Her main areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions (including the sale and purchase of businesses), joint ventures, venture capital, corporate finance related transactions, and general corporate and advisory work.

Work Highlights

Significant transactions that Sing Yee has been involved in include advising / acting for the following:

CapitaLand Limited ("CapitaLand") in its acquisition of the Ascendas-Singbridge group of companies from Ascendas-Singbridge Pte. Ltd. The deal is valued at S$11 billion and makes CapitaLand the largest diversified real estate group in Asia, with assets under management of S$123.4 billion. The vendors in Lendlease Global Commercial REIT's acquisition of the remaining stake interest in Jem mall at an agreed property value of S$2.08 billion. Olam Holdings Pte. Ltd. in the sale of a 35.4 per cent stake in Olam Agri Holdings to SALIC International Investment Company for approximately US$1.24 billion. CLA Real Estate Holdings in the restructuring and privatisation of CapitaLand. JPMorgan in its joint venture with DBS and a global investment firm to create a new blockchain-based platform, Partior, for payments, trade and foreign exchange settlement. SGX on its approximately US$200 million investment as a limited partner in a private equity fund managed by 7RIDGE, a specialised growth equity firm invested in transformative technologies.
