Edward is a full time Associate Professor of Law at the Yong Pung How School of Law, Singapore Management University where he specialises in property, planning and real estate law. Edward’s specialities also include classical land law, planning law (private and public takings), heritage conservation, strata law and real estate investment trusts (REITs).

Work Highlights

Significant matters that Edward has been involved include the following:

A S$35 million land acquisition dispute before the Court of Appeal in 2019. Sasseur Cayman Holding II in the listing of Sasseur REIT (SGX:CRPU) in 2016. Lead counsel (as a Deputy Public Prosecutor) in PP v Charan Singh [2013] SGHC 115.
