HHR Lawyers Held the Asia Regional Meeting 2024 of Meritas, A Leading Global Alliance of Independent Business Law Firms

The Meritas Asia Regional Meeting 2024 was held in Bali, and HHR Lawyers welcomed delegates from Asia and all around the world.

JAKARTA, INDONESIA – 4 September 2024 – HHR Lawyers, one of Indonesia's leading law firms based in Jakarta, hosted the Asia Regional Meeting of Meritas, a global alliance of leading independent law firms worldwide having its members in 90 different countries. The event took place at the prestigious Westin Resort Nusa Dua in Bali from 22-24 August 2024.

The Meritas Asia Regional Meeting is a prestigious annual event that brings together legal professionals from Meritas member firms across Asia. This year, with Bali as the preferred destination, were also honored to have the Chair and other members of the Board of Directors of Meritas also attend.

Arsjad Rasjid P.M. – Chairman of KADIN, and Sutanto Hartono – Managing Director/COO of EMTEK, were keynote speakers at this year’s Meritas Asia Regional Meeting. Arsjad Rasjid discussed Indonesia’s business landscape and Asia’s growing influence, while Sutanto Hartono provided insights on overcoming economic challenges and driving growth. Their perspectives highlighted Indonesia’s economic and technological progress and the legal sector’s role in supporting it.

The Meeting also addressed legal developments, technological challenges, digital regulations, and supply chain management, with discussions on women in leadership and cross-border M&A, offering delegates a well-rounded view of trends in Indonesia and Asia.
