Laura supports the London-based desk of the Middle East Employment practice, having spent considerable time in the region over the past few years.

Laura is a dedicated employment law expert who has 10 years’ experience working for high calibre clients at the forefront of UK, Middle East and global markets.  Laura has particular expertise in international projects and transactions and advises on the full range of employment matters in the UAE and UK, as well as related legal aspects of immigration, data protection, pensions and regulatory matters for FCA and DFSA-regulated firms.

Laura works closely with the corporate, commercial and real estate teams across the firm on high value complex transactions and independently manages the employment workstreams, including on M&A, private equity and commercial outsourcing transactions.

Laura has a truly international practice and is recognised in the employment team, across the wider firm and by clients as a “go-to” specialist for international employment work.  Laura is highly regarded across the London, Dubai and Singapore offices. She has been independently recognised as a key individual in the employment team, and played a part in the team’s accolade of the ‘Middle East Labour and Employment Law Firm of the Year’ award at Thomson Reuters’ inaugural Asian Legal Business (ALB) Middle East Law Awards 2021.
