Stephenson Harwood

Ben is a corporate senior associate based in Stephenson Harwood’s Myanmar office. He advises on diverse and substantial market entry projects and is experienced in navigating the investment regulatory framework, having advised leading investors on a wide range of projects (notably in the real estate, insurance and telecommunications sectors).

Ben has advised on high profile joint venture projects including assisting luxury hotel operators, property developers, healthcare providers, tower companies and other leading corporates in structuring, permitting and establishing operations in Myanmar. 

Ben helps clients navigate the practical complexities and cultural sensitivities which come with investment into Myanmar, while bringing a commercially astute and pragmatic approach to the provision of legal advice to clients.

Ben is a founding Executive Committee Member and Secretary of the New Zealand Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and sits on the judges panel for the Myanmar Property Awards.
