Hemant Sahai is the Founding Partner of HSA Advocates, a leading law firm in India and is recognized by peers, clients and diverse international legal publications as an “astute lawyer”, and one of the “leading lawyers” in India. Hemant has long-standing practical experience in advising on strategy on matters as diverse as general corporate and commercial practices including corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, dealing with SEBI and Listing Agreement issues, corporate finance & investment, regulatory affairs including dealings with diverse governments and government authorities, and tax-related matters. He has served clients across an array of industries and sectors including Automotive, Aviation, Banks and Financial Institutions, Ecommerce, Education, Energy including Renewable Energy, Environment, Health and Safety, Hospitality and Healthcare, Infrastructure-urban and rural, Insurance, Manufacturing, Media and Entertainment, etc. He has also been the Strategic Adviser to the Japanese government through the Japanese Embassy in India, on the Infrastructure sector in India for the last several years.
