Dr. Shi specializes in providing legal service regarding intellectual property. Dr. Shi’s practice areas include patent infringement and invalidation, trademark infringement and invalidation, copyright infringement, unfair competition, and transactions and compliance related to intellectual property. Dr. Shi has rich practical experience and has represented a large number of complex cases in the Supreme People’s Court, various intellectual property courts/tribunals, and the Chinese National Intellectual Property Administration. Dr. Shi especially has very rich experience in appearing in technical intellectual property cases. Dr. Shi had been engaged in trial work for about fifteen years, and had tried thousands of intellectual property and commercial cases. Dr. Shi is familiar with trial ideas and rules, and participated in the formulation of many judicial interpretations of intellectual property. Dr. Shi has a deep theoretical training and has engaged in post-doctoral research in intellectual property law. Dr. Shi has published three monographs and nearly one hundred academic papers, and is good at dealing with cutting-edge or difficult and complex intellectual property legal issues. Dr. Shi is dedicated in public service and has been teaching legal practice lessons to LLMs at China University of Political Science and Law for a long time. He also provides off-campus guidance to students at Renmin University of China.
