Claudia Steegmüller is Managing Partner and Head of Banking & Finance at Taylor Wessing Vienna. In addition, she also specialises in Corporate as well as Capital Markets and Private Client. Within Banking & Finance, Claudia advises national and international clients in all areas of finance law. With regard to acquisition financing, she mainly advises on borrower´s side, however she also advises banks, especially when it comes to bank (concession) issues regarding cross-border activities. Claudia also specialises in all areas of corporate law, be it company foundations, restructurings or liquidations. She is also regularly involved in M&A and private equity transactions.

Following her studies at the University of Vienna and the judicial clerkship year, Claudia became an associate at e|n|w|c Attorneys at Law (now Taylor Wessing CEE). After having completed an internship with Barlow Lyde & Gilbert Attorneys at Law in London, Claudia returned to Vienna to work as an attorney at e|n|w|c Attorneys at Law (now Taylor Wessing CEE). She has been a partner since 2004.

Claudia is a member of several supervisory boards of Austrian corporations as well as management boards of Austrian private foundations. She is also a member of the Vienna Bar Association.
