Dirk Wieddekind advises on all aspects of intellectual property law, both contentious and non-contentious. His clients include both start-up companies as well as leading brand owners, with a strong focus on the media, IT, and consumer goods industries.

Dirk is a graduate of the Universities of Freiburg, Germany and Aberdeen, Scotland. Before joining Taylor Wessing, Dirk was a research fellow with Professor Dr Hoffmann-Riem, Justice of the German Constitutional Court, at the Centre for Law and Innovation at the University of Hamburg, where his work focused on media, telecommunications and competition law.

Dirk is a member of the German Association for Intellectual Property Law and the author of several publications on media- and competition law issues.
