Car subscription pioneer newly on board: Taylor Wessing advises FAAREN Group on the entry of Fleetpool founder Gert Schaub

Gert Schaub, founder of Fleetpool GmbH, has entered the FAAREN Group GmbH ("FAAREN") as an investor and will support the software provider for subscription solutions in the vehicle sector as a strategic consultant and board advisor in the future. A Taylor Wessing team led by partners Daniel Schrembs and Gregor Schmid advised FAAREN on all legal issues in connection with the financing round.

Gert Schaub is regarded as a pioneer in the car subscription industry, having founded and successfully established this business model as an independent market segment with his company Fleetpool in 2008. With him, FAAREN gains considerable know-how in both the automotive industry and the car trade as well as specific expertise in the car subscription market.

As a leading international software provider for vehicle subscription solutions with a comprehensive mobility management solution, FAAREN considers itself to be ideally positioned with this cooperation to assume a market-leading position as a SaaS provider in the future and at the same time to strengthen its own car subscription marketplace as a sales channel.
