Marcin Zimny is a counsel at Taylor Wessing in Warsaw, Poland. Having almost 20 years of experience being a tax advisor, he has in-depth knowledge of all areas related to VAT, corporate income tax and excise duty. Amongst others, he advises national and international clients in all areas related to international trade, M&A and finance transactions, restructurings and joint ventures. Regarding transactions he has experience working in sectors like technology, media & telecommunications, business & professional services, consumer & retail, real estate & infrastructure and finance. Marcin also has comprehensive know-how in representing clients in disputes with tax authorities and the Administrative Court.

After having worked for the Central Customs Administration as well as for the Ministry of Finance – both in Warsaw –, Marcin was a senior associate at CMS Cameron McKenna Attorneys at Law in Warsaw for many years. Since 2013, he has been the owner of the tax law boutique Zimny Doradcy Podatkowi, in 2015 he additionally joined Taylor Wessing as a counsel.

Marcin Zimny studied law and administration at the University of Łódź as well as law at the University of Wrocław, both in Poland.
