Mr. Li Baofu has more than 30 years of judicial experience. He has adjudicated over100 civil and commercial cases, and is well-versed in all aspects of judicial trials inChina. Mr. Li is an expert at dealing with issues related to property law, contract law,guaranty law, company law, civil procedure law and various hot topics in civil andcommercial trials, and is especially familiar with a variety of civil and commercialcontract dispute resolution methods. Before joining Han Kun, Mr. Li served asgeneral counsel for a well-known Fortune Global 500 energy group company. Priorto that, from 1986, Mr. Li began to work for a provincial high people's court andsuccessively served as a clerk, acting judge, judge and deputy presiding judge. Mr. Lithen served as president of a basic people’s court and vice-president of an intermediatepeople's court. Mr. Li has years of experience in court administrative management,trial service management and specific trial work, particularly in civil and commercialtrials. Upon entering corporate practice, Mr. Li has stressed integrating his extensivetrial experience with decision-making on major corporate business affairs to preventand control risks.Mr. Li is currently a member of the Legal Advisory Board, Supervision and JudicialCommittee of a provincial People's Congress. Mr. Li has also served as the vicepresident of provincial civil law, commercial law, economic law and arbitration lawresearch institutes, and has unique insights through combining theoretical research andjudicial practice.Mr. Li was previously chosen to participate in the “Shuang Qian Program” jointly heldby the Central Political and Legal Commission and the Ministry of Education, and tobe a member of the Provincial Legal Think Tank. He is also a winner of the TianpingHonorary Medal (nominees only include those who have more than 30 years of judicialexperience).
