Career

Avimukt is a Founding Partner and Senior Partner of INDUSLAW and advises and represents clients across a range of business laws and regulations. He helps domestic and international clients navigate India’s economy, ranging from investments, data protection, e-commerce to fintech across practice areas. Avimukt is based in the Firm’s New Delhi and NCR offices.
He represents clients in M&A and PE transactions as well as commercial and corporate controversies including competition law, data protection and business regulatory matters, and has extensive experience in negotiating entry and exit strategies for investors and joint-venture partners. Avimukt has led India’s largest private equity financing in the hospitality sector and the expansion of several Indian companies overseas.
Avimukt has been consistently recognised as a recommended lawyer in the Chambers and Partners Fin-Tech Rankings since 2020. The IFLR1000 2024-25 rankings have recognised him as a ‘Highly Regarded’ lawyer for M&A and Financial Services Regulatory.
