Naqeeb is a Partner in the Bengaluru office of INDUSLAW.

He focuses on Technology Media Telecoms, Fintech and corporate laws.

He regularly advises clients on outsourcing, licensing, e-commerce, fintech and telecom space. One of his key areas of practice is privacy and data protection, and he has advised various multinational companies in this area of law. He has substantial experience in the fintech sector, covering cryptocurrencies, NFTs, PPIs, data localisation, etc.  He regularly assists fintech companies with structuring their financial products. He also assists clients with aligning their data processing practices with Indian data protection laws. Further, he has experience in the telecom sector, covering use of voice over IP in India, M2M, advice on IP-PSTN inter connectivity, obtaining of telecom licenses, sale of international MPLS, MVNO regulations in India, cloud PBX services, etc.

Most recently, Naqeeb has been awarded as the TMT Rising Star of the Year 2024 at  the Legal 500 India Awards. He has also been recognised as a ‘recommended lawyer’ for TMT by the Legal 500 Asia Pacific Guide 2024.
