S&R Associates Welcomes New Partner

We are pleased to announce that Aakanksha Joshi will join S&R Associates on August 19, 2024, as a retained partner in the Firm’s Mumbai office.

Aakanksha Joshi’s practice focuses on the projects, infrastructure, and energy sectors. She advises clients on the regulatory framework relating to and investments in infrastructure projects; bidding process and bid documents; concession agreements, engineering, procurement and construction contracts, supply contracts, consultancy contracts, operation and maintenance contracts, power purchase agreements and off-take agreements. She has advised on projects relating to a wide-range of infrastructure assets, including energy (conventional and renewable), shipping, ports, roads, airports, railways, warehousing, data centers, e-mobility and waste and water management.

Aakanksha also advises hospitality clients on acquisitions, franchising and management of hotels, restaurants and other hospitality related businesses.

Aakanksha received an LL.B. from the Government Law College, Mumbai in 2007. She is qualified in India and is a Solicitor with the Bombay Incorporated Law Society. Her prior experience includes working with Economic Laws Practice in Mumbai, where she was a partner.
