Career

Roochi is an Associate Partner in the Firm and part of the Firm’s energy, infrastructure, projects, debt and restructuring practice group.

Roochi has over eleven years of experience in representing various stakeholders such as private and public sector banks, Governments, non-banking finance companies, private and public sector companies and undertakings, financial and multilateral institutions, funds etc. in relation to, amongst other things, financing and acquisition of capital-intensive projects and facilities around various jurisdictions including Asia and Middle East.

Relevant experience

Advising on matters pertaining to project financing, term loan facilities, revolving and letters of credit facilities, bonds, non-convertible and convertible debentures both listed and unlisted, commercial paper facilities and financing from multilateral institutions. Drafting and negotiating key documents including rupee loan agreements, inter-creditor agreements, common terms agreements, security documents, pledge agreements, trustee agreements, debenture trust deeds, etc.

She is registered with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa and has completed her LL.B. degree from Government Law College. Prior to joining the firm, she was working with HSA Advocates. Roochi has also previously worked with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., Ernst & Young.
