Senior Associate

Ms. Gupta is a Senior Associate in the International Trade and WTO practice group of the Firm. She holds a degree in law and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.

She is adept in areas pertaining to financial analysis, tax compliance, advisory and litigation. Her expertise encompasses trade remedies, customs laws, direct taxation, indirect taxation, company law, accountancy and other commercial laws.

Ms. Gupta has individually or as a part of the team, advised and represented clients in various trade remedial investigations, income tax, VAT, GST and customs investigations before the appropriate officers and appellate forums such as CIT(A), CESTAT, ITAT and the Hon’ble High Courts.

She sits as a panellist in moot court competitions in her available time and was recently invited to be part of the panel in the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition. She also pens articles on different topics and has recently contributed to the India chapter of Lexology - Getting the Deal Through - Trade & Customs (2021).
