Ricky Firman is a seasoned legal professional with over 28 years of experience in General Corporate and Commercial Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Intellectual Property Rights, Telecommunications, Media & Technology, Real Estate, Data Privacy, Risk Management & Compliance, and Dispute Resolution.

Throughout his career, Ricky has demonstrated his adaptability and versatility, serving in various capacities. He has acted as APAC’s General Counsel for a renowned international sports channel, IT consultant and services, software licensing, media and financial services providers, and digital enterprises. Prior to that, Ricky was a Senior Associate at several large international law firms based in Jakarta, overseeing intricate and complex matters in the Practice Group Corporate and Commercial.

His diverse background and deep understanding of complex legal matters have been instrumental in advising clients on a wide range of corporate transactions, including governance and compliance, contract negotiation, entity establishment, labour-related advice, workplace policies, data protection, data privacy, and cyber security, software licensing, and cutting-edge legal issues in Intellectual Property protection.
