Mr. Yu was also selected to the ‘Thousands Foreign Lawyers Talent Pool’ by the Ministry of Justice. Mr. Yu has been awarded ‘National Outstanding Lawyer’, ‘Shanghai Leading Talents’, ‘Oriental Barrister’, ‘Shanghai Outstanding Lawyer’ and other honorary titles.

Mr. Yu currently is the president of Shanghai Arbitration Association, the director of Foreign Affairs Committee and the director of Foreign-related Legal Services Committee (All China Lawyers Association), an arbitrator of four domestic and foreign arbitration institutions including Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center, and a mediator of JAMS and Shanghai Economic and Commercial Mediation Center. He also acts as the legal counsel of Shanghai Municipal Government, a member of the Administrative Review Committee of Shanghai Municipal People's Government, a member of the Legal Advisory Committee of China Overseas Chinese Association, a special advisor of Shanghai High People's Court, and a public interest lawyer of CSI Small and Medium Investors Service Center.

From April 2015 to March 2019, Mr. Yu served as the president of the Shanghai Bar Association.

Mr. David Yu is the co-founder of Llinks Law Offices, he received his LL.B. degree from Fudan University Law School and MBA degree from China Europe International Business School, respectively.
