In the areas of Capital Markets / Corporate Finance, Mr. Wang has provided legal services to a number of large state-owned enterprises, private enterprises and foreign-invested companies in relation to initial public offering (IPO), corporate bond floatation, convertible bond issuance, warrant issuance, public or private placement, and right offering.
Mr. Wang is also dedicated to the practice of M&A / Restructuring, Private Equity / Venture Capital, providing professional advice to prestigious international and domestic leading companies on high profile mergers and acquisitions, investment and corporate restructuring including acting for many listed companies in their acquisitions and asset restructuring by participating into structure design, documentation, negotiation, legal opinion and closing as well. He also offered professional legal services for multiple leading investment institutions in takeover, floatation, corporate restructuring.
In the fields of securities investment funds and other asset management, Mr. Wang has provided legal services for almost 30 JV and domestic fund management companies, and he has represented domestic and overseas financial institutions for establishments, mergers and acquisitions of over ten fund management companies. Mr. Wang also provides professional legal support for the daily operation of fund management companies. Furthermore, Mr. Wang has been acting as a legal advisor for open-ended securities investment funds including equity funds, balance funds, bond funds, monetary market funds, ETF and many innovation products. He also provides professional legal services for segregated account management, trust funds, limited partnerships, privately-offered funds and other asset management projects. Mr. Wang is often invited to give legal advice for various local and foreign venture capital and private equity funds.
Education
Mr. Leo Wang graduated from the Law School of Wuhan University with a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in law.
