Career

Alex is a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Agricultural and Commercial Property team at TSP.

Alex has worked in East Anglia for more than 18 years, acting for a wide range of businesses, farming families, landowners and charities over that period . He advises on commercial and rural property transactions, predominantly involving:

Sales and purchases, including strategic land development; Commercial and agricultural tenancies for landlords and tenants; Succession planning, the partition of partnership property and beneficial ownership; Diversification projects, including energy generation schemes; and Secured lending/ financing.

Alex was Called to the Bar (Barrister) in 2002 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2010. At that time he was the NFU East Anglia Policy Adviser where, over almost seven years, he gained an excellent technical knowledge of agricultural policy, farming and the food chain.

Going back into private practice, he moved to a large regional firm in 2012 and has since been instructed by clients across Suffolk, Norfolk and north Essex.

Alex completed a master’s degree in Law (LL.M) in 2005 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association in 2016.
