Aparna Kareer is an Intellectual Patent attorney and registered patent agent with Obhan & Associates and oversees the Patent filing department of the Firm.
She focuses on searching, drafting of patent specifications as well as filing and prosecution of patent applications before the Indian Patent Office. She also works on patent opposition proceedings, patent litigation matters and regularly advise clients on IP strategy.
Her areas of expertise include biotechnology, chemical pharmaceutical and nanotechnology. She has a Bachelors’ degree in Industrial Microbiology and a Masters’ degree in Biotechnology and a Degree in law.
