Stephen is the principle contact for property matters for Registered Providers, heading up our nationally recognised Affordable Housing team, with over 25 years' experience in the property development sector acting for housing associations and registered providers.

His particular specialisms are in property-related matters including:

Qualifying in 1995, Stephen has spent his entire career in property development and acting for Registered Providers. Ranked as Band 3 for Social Housing in the Chambers UK 2024 legal directory, Stephen is "noted for his experience in non-contentious property law, regularly advising registered providers on acquisitions and development projects, stock transfers and property financing work." with clients stating that Stephen is "An experienced and knowledgeable solicitor." and "Stephen provides a very reliable and attentive level of service.".

Away from work, Stephen enjoys making the most of living in the West Country, in particular walking on Exmoor and the Quantocks and trying to keep fit.
