Mr. He joined ACIP in 2005 and has been a partner of ACIP for more than 10 years managing the international patent department of ACIP. Before starting his IP career, Mr. He worked in a foreign high-tech company as an engineer, which gives him a good understanding of working process of foreign companies. 

With rich experience in counseling to foreign clients in terms of patent drafting, infringement analysis, freedom to operate investigation, invalidation and patent strategy, Mr. He has helped clients successfully obtain patent rights and win patent re-examinations and invalidations in China, especially in the fields of mechanical engineering and electronics.

Chong has extensive experiences in applying for patents and designs abroad, such as US, Europe, Japan, Korea and other countries, which enable him to help the clients to build and manage their global patent portfolio more effectively.

In addition to the prosecution practice, he also extends his practice to patent enforcement for international clients. He has participated in many enforcement cases together with our enforcement department and helped the international clients successfully combat counterfeiting that involves patents and trademarks.

Mr. He has been acting as the Managing Partner of the firm since 2021 to supervise overall management of the firm, focusing on providing high-quality and customized IP services. He is also a recommended individual for patent prosecution in IAM Patent 1000 2019-2021.
