Career

Allison is a Partner in the Private Client department and also takes a lead role in matters where the firm’s Trust Corporation is appointed as Attorney or Deputy for clients lacking mental capacity. As such, Allison is often called upon to make important decisions as trustee, attorney or deputy. Allison balances client care with pragmatism and professionalism, gaining the trust of her clients and as a result often advises families through multiple generations.

Allison specialises in all aspects of administration of estates, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work, but has considerable experience gained in her former years in residential conveyancing and family law, which is particularly useful in enabling her to provide a full  advice service to clients.

Qualified as a Legal Executive in 1997 then as a Solicitor in 2006; joined TWM in 2008; became Partner in 2010 and was appointed TWM Head of Private Client Department in 2010 until August 2019.

Allison lives in Guildford and has three daughters. Her interests include outdoor pursuits, skiing and running. She is a middle distance athletics coach for Guildford & Godalming Athletics Club.
