Career

Charlotte is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team specialising in all aspects of property litigation and property disputes. She advises a broad range of clients, from private individuals and companies, to property developers and institutional clients. Charlotte works on disputes involving both residential and commercial properties, as well as business and commercial claims.

Charlotte prides herself on being approachable and responsive. She has a passion for property litigation and can offer creative solutions to property related disputes, with a focus on finding practical solutions to difficult issues.

Charlotte has a particular interest in landlord and tenant matters, including:

Breaches of lease (including rent arrears and disrepair) including claims for damages and specific performance Reasonableness of service charge and major works consultation, including making and defending applications in the First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) Lease renewal and termination (e.g. break notices, forfeiture and relief from forfeiture claims) Contested and uncontested Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 business tenancy renewal claims Dilapidations and disrepair claims

Charlotte also advises clients on matters concerning:

Trespass Nuisance Restrictive covenants, rights of way and other easements Boundary disputes TOLATA matters including beneficial ownership disputes and orders for sale Adverse possession Negligence

Charlotte always strives to give efficient and practical advice, delivered with clarity.

She previously worked for a London Local Authority and another Surrey based firm before joining TWM.

Charlotte is a member of the Property Litigation Association.

Education

Charlotte graduated from the University of Surrey in 2012 and the University of Law in 2014.
