Career

Howard Wong joined chambers as a tenant in 2018 after serving pupillage with Ms. Maggie Wong SC, Mr. Jenkin Suen SC, Christopher Chain SC and John Hui. After graduating from the London School of Economics, Howard pursued the postgraduate Bachelor of Civil Law at the University of Oxford. He was awarded the Hong Kong Bar Scholarship in 2018 and the Charles Ching Memorial Scholarship in 2019.

Howard has developed a broad civil and commercial practice in line with chambers’ general profile. He has amassed substantial experience conducting urgent applications, particularly applications for injunctions and asset-tracing orders, on short notice. Further, Howard is comfortable arguing cases as an advocate in his own right, and has appeared both led and unled at first instance and in the Court of Appeal.
