Jae Lemin

Jae is a partner in our banking and finance and renewable energy and sustainability groups, based in hong kong. He helps corporates and banks on a wide range of projects and financings, including project financings, acquisition financings, trade financings and corporate loans. Jae has worked on transactions throughout asia-pacific, south america and africa. In addition, jae has spent periods on secondment in nab’s global treasury department in melbourne and standard chartered’s wholesale banking group in hong kong. Jae has extensive experience leading multi-jurisdictional projects and has particular industry experience in the energy and natural resources sector, including renewable energy. Jae’s recent banking experience includes: acting for cki in connection with the financing for its bid for london city aiports; acting for citibank in connection with a hk$500 million loan facility to clp power hong kong; acting for commercial banks on the hk$1.7 million financing of a warehouse and distribution facility in hong kong; advising a listed company on a hk$300 million revolving loan/letter of credit facility for its asian operations; advising an investment bank on a us$130 million acquisition facility; and advising a japanese corporation in connection with prepayment facilities for manganese ore. Jae’s recent renewable energy experience includes: advising a developer on the financing of a wind project in the philippines; advising a developer on the construction of a wind project in indonesia; advising a developer on the development of a hydropower project in indonesia; and advising developers and banks in australia on wind and solar projects supported by the clean energy finance corporation., Thomson Geer
