Career

Plaifon is a qualified Patent Agent in Thailand. At Ananda IP, Plaifon is responsible for filing and prosecuting domestic and international patent applications, conducting patent searches, analysing the search results, advising clients on patent enforcement strategies, including conducting patent infringement analysis and any other patent related matters.

Prior to joining Ananda IP, Plaifon had experience working in Private Client Department at Legacare (UK) Ltd., and Litigation Department at the Personal Support Unit (UK). As a Litigation Support, Plaifon advises client on the court procedures, available course of actions and assisted clients in preparing and reviewing court documents.

Plaifon graduated from Newcastle University with Bachelor of Law degree (honours) and was awarded a first-class degree in Patent and Trademark Law. She was also awarded commendation in Legal Practice Course regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). In 2020, Plaifon completed “Advanced course on Patents” certified by WIPO. In 2024, Plaifon was selected to participate in WIPO-Harvard Law School (HLS) joint certificate course on Patent Law and Global Public Health (“PatentX”).
