Privacy & Data Protection

Marta is a Counsel in the Privacy & Data Protection team in Warsaw.

She has been advising clients since 2007 on a range of domestic and international data and privacy compliance projects. Marta assists clients in implementing global data management strategies, international data transfers and data compliance issues. Over the years she has built up in-depth experience in supporting data rich companies from various technology driven sectors.

Marta has extensive experience in managing global contract review projects and support companies in drafting and negotiating data protection agreements and transfer provisions. She is truly passionate about Legal Tech solutions that facilitate legal work in these projects.

She supports clients in crisis situations and data incidents. She orchestrates global data breach assessments and notifications and supports companies locally by representing them during audits and in proceedings before the Data Protection Authority and the courts.

She combines a passion for data protection with an interest in unmanned aerial systems, and advises clients on regulatory and privacy issues in this emerging sector.

She works in Polish, English and German.

She has been a member of the Warsaw Bar since 2011.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, and also completed post-graduate studies in the field of Intellectual Property at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. Marta also completed a German and European law course at the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the University of Bonn, and an American law course at the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the University of Florida.
