Piotr is a partner in the Finance & Financial Regulation team in Bird & Bird's Warsaw office.

Piotr advises local and international banks, investment firms, payment institutions and other financial institutions on a broad range of regulatory matters, including CRD, CRR, BRRD, MiFID, PSD and AML.

He has special focus on regulations concerning operations of foreign credit institutions in Poland.

He also advises on capital market transactions, in particular debt capital market and structured finance transactions. They include issuance of domestic bonds, Eurobonds, regulatory capital instruments (MREL, TLAC), covered bonds as well as true sale and synthetic securitisation.

Piotr works in Polish and English.

He studied law at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and at the University of Utrecht.
