Munir Merchant specializes in a variety of issues in the sphere of general corporate law and litigation ranging from debt recovery, company winding up, summary suits, succession related disputes etc. From appearing in a variety of matters involving complex issues concerning the Constitution of India and routine commercial matters to giving advice on Commercial Agreements and Property Laws.

Mr. Merchant has been handling property transactions from inception including scrutinizing documents to ascertain the title of the property, drafting necessary documents etc., advising on and representation for real estate transactions and drafting of lease deeds/agreements, mortgage and purchase agreements, advice on registration, levies relating to transfer of property; municipal taxes etc., mutation, title search and perfection of title, advice and representation in matters relating to Succession and Probate.

Mr. Merchant has also successfully handled high profile and complex Arbitrations. He is also a trained Mediator and has successfully mediated several complex disputes. He has handled various complex media related matters and represents the most reputed Media houses in India before various forums. Has undergone a 40 hours training based on an International curriculum on Mediation and Conciliation. Mr. Merchant was also invited by International Social Service along with Hague Convention to assist in writing a Charter Paper on Cross Border Mediation and Child Prevention in a family dispute.
